10 reviews for Fruit of the Loom Men’s Extended Sizes Jersey Knit Sleep Pant

  1. Belle

I’m cheap. I buy Walmart jammies, but women’s pajama bottoms always shrink and end up too short. I’ve found that men’s pajamas are much better. These are really comfy. They’re a nice, light alternative to flannel pajama pants. I live in them when I’m lounging around the house. I bought one to try, and I think I need a second pair!

After buying two other brands of pajama pants, that didn’t really fit me right, I tried a pair of Fruit of the Looms. I have short legs, so I had to hem them. After wearing them for a week, I have to say that they are the best lounging/sleeping pants I own now. I just ordered two more.
Being “Casual”, most of the time, since I am retired, I wear my pajama pants and a t-shirt around the house all day when I know nobody is going to visit or see me. These pajama pants are perfect. The black color looks nice, so I don’t look like I am wearing the usual striped pajama pants, when I go out to the driveway to pick up the paper or take out trash.
The material is light, very soft to the touch, and feels great. It is hot where I live, so flannel can get uncomfortable sometimes. These pants are great for wearing in our climate. While they are not silk pajama pants, I feel like Hugh Hefner spending my days wearing them. My wife loves the new look and urged me to get more!

Excellent long housewear/sleepwear. I am a big man and these 4XL Big pants fit my 54-56 inch waist perfectly (with room to spare but with the cinch/tie – perfect). Very soft and comfortable fabric, tried these on and did not want to take them off.

  4. Merchant

I’m 5′ 7″. I normally buy large, but after reading about how these can shrink in hot water, I bought the extra-large, washed in hot and dried using the cotton setting and they fit perfectly. They are very soft. Some report itchiness–maybe check what detergent was being used as I have sensitive skin but these are nothing but smooth and soft. Some sleepwear with pockets should be called lounge pants and not sleep pants as the pockets can annoy when sleeping on your side, but not these. I keep forgetting it has pockets. Definitely buying another pair.

  5. Summer

I’m a 5’2, 115 female. But I love pockets with my lounge pants. These fit me perfectly, I could hem them slightly since I’m rather short. The fabric was about the quality I expected for lounge pants. Light and comfy. Even after washing they still fit just the same. Pockets held my phone and keys while I checked the mail. The male version was about half the price of the female style, and I’ll be buying more. If you don’t tuck the pockets in, it looks funny pike you have a weird hip bulge.

  6. Weingart

Probably the most comfortable Sleep/Lounge pant I’ve every owned.
Material is high quality, fit is perfect with a great waist band, does not flip down when I bring up to my belly!
Even the pockets have a nice feel, not the same material as the pant but more like a pocket lining in a suit, seriously.
And their is also a button fly, so well made, I need to buy again (in another color)… my go to for foot ball games!!

My son is very happy with these Fruit of the Loom Men’s Jersey Knit Sleep Pants. These fit him perfectly. I ordered him two pairs in his normal size. He tried them on as soon as they arrived and they fit great. I would say these sleep pants are true to size. The weight of the jersey knit is wonderful as well. It is not super heavy, so they are comfortable in the summer. But it isn’t too thin either so I am sure they would work for winter time too. We are very happy with the purchase. They were very reasonably priced and since we have Prime, they arrived in two days with free shipping. My son has had them for a bit now, and they have been washed many times and are still holding up very well. I would recommend these to anyone.

I wanted a thin 100% cotton pant as I am always hot in the winter and my wife and I negotiate the thermostat. Often she wins! So, I knew I didn’t want anything that had polyester in it. These pants are about the thickness of a t-shirt. You cannot see through them or anything like that. The size is as you would expect, but I bought an one-up size since they could shrink in the dryer.

The best! I’ve owned another pair of lounge pants by a different brand, but these are superior. They’re incredibly soft like a t-shirt and extremely comfortable. The pockets are good – not sure what some of the complaints were for. Also, the length was perfect for me. I’m 5’7”, so I usually have to hem or cut pants like this… but these fit perfectly after washing & drying once. (185lbs, 34” waist / size 32 pant… I bought a size L)

These PJs are absolutely perfect for me. They are soft, but not overly so, lightweight enough to wear in the summer in a house that we only cool to 79. I bought these originally because I was tired of paying extra for pjs that were “women’s” when men’s are so much cheaper. Also, I really wanted pockets, and most of the time women’s pjs have very small pockets (if they have them at all), whereas men’s generally have deeper ones.

Many of the reviews claimed these shrank significantly when washed. I didn’t find this to be true. I washed them in cold water (I wash everything in cold except sheets and towels) and dried them on the “normal” setting. I do not use the “high” dryer setting because I think that much heat makes the clothes break down much faster.

I bought medium, and they are nice and loose-fitting…just what you’d want in pjs. They also don’t have that annoying billow in the front that many men’s pjs have when worn by women. I liked these so much I bought two more pair. It did seem like the black color shrank a bit more than the blue and grey, but even the black didn’t shrink overly much. They still touch the floor when I wear them. I like to wear them rather low. I’m 5’2″ (145lbs), though, so if you’re tall, they may not be long enough–although the blue and grey pair have about 3 extra inches of material below my feet. I suppose if you’re taller, maybe don’t get the black ones.

I don’t have any idea how these will feel on a man, but for a woman, if you are looking for loose, comfy, lightweight pjs…these are absolutely perfect.
